The best oral chelation supplement is EDTA. EDTA is very effective in remobilizing metals. However, it is said that using chelators might not be a good strategy in the long run. It can increase the availability of the metal in an excessive form in a short period of time, which increases toxic effects for plants. This eventually hampers and reduces their growth and capacity to extract metals. When heavy metals like mercury, lead arsenic, or iron start building up in a body, they can become highly toxic. Chelation therapy is a treatment that used chemicals like EDTA to remove metals from a patient’s body that doesn’t make the person sick.

At times some doctors prescribe chelation therapy as an alternative to treat autism, Alzheimer and heart diseases too. Chelation is a treatment or a therapy which is approved for removing heavy metal toxicity on led toxicity and it is not yet approved for patients with coronary artery disease but in some times it is have been inadvertently used for patients with coronary artery disease and it has shown no benefit to these patients who have coronary artery disease. In fact, chelation therapy can cause serious side effects including death if used in the wrong way.

EDTA chelation therapy oral dosage is a therapy that uses special kind of drugs that binds metal in a patient’s blood. At times intravenous medicines are given through the patient’s arm. Once this procedure is done and the metal is attached to the drug, The patient’s body removes it through the passage of urine. Metal poisoning tests are conducted by the doctor in order to insert and extract metals from the patient’s body. Chelation is the injection of EDTA. EDTA stands for Di Sodium Ethylene Diamine Tetrick Acid it is a compound that is injected into the body along with some vitamins and it is technically done on IV injection which is carried around for thirty to forty days on the patient which is able to remove the blocks as it has calcium affinity.

Side Effects:

Chelation therapy when used for the right person in the right manner can be extremely safe but having said that this rule applies to all the treatments. One of the most common side effects of chelation therapy is burning in the area of where intravenous drug is injected, fever, nausea or headache can also accompany.
